Part time tractor trailer driver/No touch freight/Local

Yes, there are women who love driving trucks! And they do not stop just because they have reached the 50 yrs old mark! It is very satisfying to drive semi trucks. You get the load, you deliver the load, and everyone thinks you are awesome, if you are a woman especially!

However; the glitch in the happiness level is when you decide that seventy hours a week is not your cup of tea any longer! Also; trying to stay local can be a challenge, as quite a few drivers like to stay local, so there is competition.

MY DREAM JOB would be to work three days a week, ten hours a day(you can forget it if you're not willing to do ten hours usually). That would leave a nice amount of time to chill and do whatever else you would do if you could relax a bit.

I want to be a writer of articles and or books, but I am always looking for enough work to pay rent, mortgage or some other dang thing. If I could drive a truck three days a week, I could AFFORD to write!

Anyone out there wanting to make a good old girl's dream come true? Just let me know. You gotta be in the Phoenix area, cause I ain't leavin' my son's neighborhood while I can still help it.
