I am a retired California bay area CEO of a retail/contract floor covering and interiors business with 3 retail stores and an office in Reno,NV. I was hired in 1974 to manage a division of a property management co.that furnished floor covering and interiors for the 10,000 units they owned or managed. I with the help of a great staff I was able to hire, were able to expand the company from 2 people and $250000 per year in sales to 50+ employees $250,000 per month I was able to buy the co. in the early 80's. Health issues that have been corrected forced me into an early retirement in 1996. My wife and I are in our early 60's and for the last 12 years have been doing Hospice respite care which we love and seem to be Blessed with a talent for. We too are healthy Christians looking for a way to use our talents in a Blessed way our home is up for sale and we are open to new adventures kids are gone, not out of our lives but out of the house six grandkids keep life very interesting and joyful. Thanks for reading this I have never done anything like this but remember hiring a fellow in his 70s from retirement jobs inc. in San Jose who turned out to be my top salesperson. I don't know if this will go anywhere with us but what you do is a great thing.
